Claws of a stranger

Chapter 11- Behind every face

As the sun started to rise Lex noticed that he was still a werewolf
"I might as well stay like this." he thought
"I will have to avoid eyesight with other people."
Lex ran crossed top of the trees and rooftops so no one will see him
When he got to his house he entered through an open window
Lex looked around his house it was clean
"The two did a good job, it looks almost new." Lex thought
He headed downstairs and he saw Zander asleep but he didn't saw Eclipse anywhere
"Where is Eclipse?" Lex thought
Zander then woke up.
"Lex, is tat you?" Zander said all drowsy
"Hey Zander. You know where Eclipse went?" Lex asked
"Sorry no." Zander said
Before Lex became a werewolf Eclipse always vanish
Even when they were hanging out she left early saying she had stuff to do.
"What brings you back? What did they say? Where's Flynn?" Zander asked in one puff.
Lex explained what had happened to him and whats going on
"So you are blood prince who is destine to be the king of the werewolves." Zander said
"Yes." Lex said
"You attacked by a demon and saved by a wolf man who saved you." Zander said
"Yes." Lex responded
"Wow that's a lot." Zander said
Lex then thought about the encounter with the thief him and Zander faced.
"You remember where I  fought that thief?" Lex said
"I remember it well you where awesome how you...." as Zander blabbed on Lex thought in his head
"Maybe if I return to the alley then maybe...."
Lex rushed out the door and Zander followed
"Hey wait up!" he said but Lex was way ahead
"Maybe...." Lex said
"Just maybe." Lex thought

As Lex reached the alley which he faced the thief,memories of it came back
"You remember this place." said a voice
Lex turned and saw a ghostly figure of Esmeralda
"Esmerald your......!" Lex said speechless
"I am trying a different way to communicate with you. You will be the only to see me like this." She said
"Why have you been communicating to like this and in my dreams?" Lex asked rubbing his eyes with his paws.
"I'm doing this so I can guide you and help since your the blood prince." Esmeralda said walking forward.
"So those warnings were real and wait.... how did you know?" Lex asked
"I know because I was the first blood princess." She said
"What?You where..." Lex said
"Yes I was." She said
"What happened?" Lex asked
"When I was about to become the leader a dark force broke lose and caused havoc I didn't want anyone to die because of this great force so I unleashed great power to prevent it from destroying the world and in the end I sacrificed myself and saved the world." Esmeralda said.
"What kind of dark force was it?" Lex asked
"The dark force was not a dangerous storm or any thing drastic it was the wrath of the Dark Claw Clan." She said
Lex froze Esmeralda continued
"After my passing I now use my abilities to guide the distend ones to prevent the same things that I faced."
"So the leader is that powerful?" Lex asked
"He is with all his henchmen by his side he is invincible." She said
"They are already taking measures to bring you to the leader. Be careful."
She then went back to her question
"You remember this place don't you?" She said
Lex looked around and remembered well.
"Yes I do. This is where it happened where my powers helped me beat that guy and were I tried blood for the first time." Lex said
"When you are used to being a werewolf memories of your past return to you." Esmeralda said starting to fade
"I will see you later." and she vanished

"Well, well lookie here the blood prince arrived In wolf mode what a surprise." A voice said from above
"Who?" Lex said looking up
He saw Talon looking down at him with an evil grin
"Talon!" Lex barked
"What are you doing here?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Talon said
"I'm here for a rematch. This time I am not holding back."
Talon said as he jumped down from the ledge
"Let's see how well you do against the improved me." he said as he transformed into a werewolf
Lex lunged at him, Talon pushed him back
"Come on is that the best you can do?" Talon said
Lex got up and Talon came at him at full speed
Lex struggled to endure his head on attack and fell backward
"Let's see how well you can handle my kick." Talon said as his foot swung across Lex's face
Lex's face spat out blood and he fell to the ground
He got up and at full speed tackled Talon to the ground
Lex used his claws to throw punches at him
Talon kicked him in the gut to push him off
"Not bad." Talon said
"But you'll have to better."
"Oh, but I'm just getting started." Lex said taunting him
The two came charging into one another Talon bit him on the arm
While Lex scratched him hard across his chest
Lex then punched him across the face as payback while Talon swung his foot into Lex's backside
The two where very exhausted but still had energy
Talon pelted a trash can at Lex
Luckily Lex split the can in half and charged into Talon sending him into a dumpster
Talon transformed back into a human injured badly
"How? How can I be beaten twice?" Talon said outrage
"Maybe you should surrender." Lex said
"Hmph. I am not done yet." Talon said
With great speed he came charging towards Lex
His hands are razor sharp his teeth as well and his eyes a luminous yellow as his last resort attack
Lex stood there frozen from the sight
"Now your mine." Talon said
Just then an arrow came behind Lex and into Talon's left eye
"Aargh!" he said as he missed his target and landed in a pile of trash
He stood up and looked by the entrance of the alley, Lex did the same thing
There stood a figure dressed in black robes wearing a veil that the front was covered with a mesh surface so you can't see who it was
"Move and the next one is going in the heart." The figure said pointing the crossbow at Talon with an arrow ready.
"I can no longer take this." Talon said
"If I return to the lord like this he'll be pissed. Farewell twerp we will not meet again."
And Talon took off to an unknown location.
Lex looked at the figure as it withdraw the crossbow
"You saved me big time." Lex said
The figure took off the Vail to revile their face
The person was Eclipse.
"Eclipse?" Lex said confused
"Nice to see you." She said
"What or How? Or.." Lex said speechless
"I guess I have explaining to do." Eclipse said
"You see. I am an Assassin."
"An Assassin?!?" Lex said shocked.
"I became one when I was 15, since my parents are hired Assassins that work for the
government and they made me into the next generation of Assassins." she continued
"After we cleaned your house I left when Zander was asleep to find you and look
up information on Talon. I studied his movements and traced him back here where he
will try to eliminate you."
She came close to Lex and cuddled into his blood stained silver fur.
"If I didn't showed up then..." her eyes became watery
Lex lifted her chin up
"Thank you for saving me." Lex said whipping her face off with his paw
He hugged her she looked into his eyes
"Your welcome." She said and she gave him a kiss on the cheek
Lex felt a warm sensation in his wolf body.
"By the way what brings you back here anyway?" Eclipse asked
Lex explained what happened
"I see. So you are a blood prince and are supposed to be the ruler of the werewolf race and then you decided to go for a walk when for no reason at all a demon attacked you and
you where saved by a wolf man who brought you to a cemetery that was close to here
and you checked up on us and a spirit by the name of Esmeralda who was the first
blood princess is being your guide to lead the werewolf world to prosperity and prevent the Dark Claw Clan from destroying the world?" Eclipse said.
"Um....yeah." Lex said
"So Flynn does he even know your gone?" She asked
"He might be looking for me." Lex said
"You may want to return to him." She said
"Please be careful."
"I will." Lex said and he took off
Eclipse stood in the alley watching him run off
"Lex I hope you will return." she said quietly

Meanwhile out in the city Talon started thought out loud
"He is getting stronger ." he said
"I see you failed yet again." Argo said emerging from the shadows
"Don't rub it in Argo." Talon said
"What will you do now?" Argo asked
"I am not going to stay and receive a punishment from the lord." Talon said
"Where will you go?" he asked
"Far away from him." Talon said
"Before you go let me give you this." Argo said as he took out a black cloth from his satchel
"Wear this over your wounded eye before you bleed to death." he said giving it to Talon
"Thanks Argo you are a good man even thought you are strange." Talon said tying it over his eye
"You're quite welcome and with that I bid you farewell." Argo said
Without hesitation Talon ran off to a location unknown
"So he is getting stronger..." Argo said
"But nows not the time for lagging behind since I have to get to my...... plans." and Argo walked off.
